There's a trick you can use against some bosses (the ones that you can grab easily): grab them, pummel them two times, vault over them, vault again and then quickly regrab them. Rinse, repeat. This works best as Shiva, because he can pummel enemies three times instead of two.

Pretty sure all bosses are immune to that now, only some mooks still are.

It still works on the fire breathing fatties, it does with Rudra and Blaze.

The timestamp on the sorr.dat file for V5.1 is 06/06/2011. My guess is that V5.0a and V5.1 were further revisions Bomberlink was working on back in the day, but weren't officially released to the public because the situation with Sega finally came to a dead end.

This update has been great however even though I have a couple of qualms with it. The game still feels fresh with the recent mod updates as well, hope you have time to check them out, they are marvelous! :-)

Yes, I've played all three Streets of Rage and, honestly, Bomber Games has made an outstanding game with all the best of the three titles.

Not really sure if this is the right place to put this if not let me know, I have been trying to get the A.I editor and have read the how to thread to get but I have still not unlocked it. I have completed all Boss Rush stages with Gold Medals all event modes, but I have only got A ranks on the survival stages do I need S rank on the stages as well to unlock it.

I'm happy to report that I've FINALLY figured out how to use blitz inputs! =D Well, mostly only with Axel, but I have it memorized which is great. His second blitz is so OP, but at the same time, sorely needed against those cursed Ravens. >>
