Huh. Seems like an odd reason to cancel. The interest is there. I do feel like his video should have had a description though saying it wasn't finished etc. I hope he'll reconsider.

Indeed this sort of problem happened with a Romhacker who Im friends with,got accused for stupid dumb reasons & chased away from the internet & now he's in hiding because of it,even one of his pals turned on him from what I've heard,I hope my friend is doing alright.

But in any case we should help the creator anyway we can from these pests.

Yeah I have just ridden that comment too Iceferno, but that guy's username is ,,Alex V,, and he has no videos no channels no playlists literally he has nothing on his You Tube account and he just says that this V5.2 patch has been cancelled??!

I have a feeling he is just trying to destroy the happiness in people they believe the project will come alive sooner or later, but I ain't buy this info from him since he is the only one declared it!
In worst case if the hacker is willing to cancel this work then I will continue it, I get the source-code somehow and finish this project at all cost cos I am really high for this V5.2 patch!

Of course this guy is trolling us. At least in the 5.2 video, there's not too much download requests, only from "trolls" like "ET*@ 3 B.

Believe or not, this guy keep commenting "LINK download" on almost every SOR mod and specially Serrr's videos, even when there is "WIP" on the video's title Very Happy

I personally don't think high download requests is a plausive reason to cancel, ~~SEGA please don't screw again lol~~ and the Pixelated Brain can block those kind of comments on YT if it bother him.

Edit: I didn't realize Alex V is NeoVamp from here. Shocked

You know I started to think about this patch in the last couple of days, and my personal feeling is this ,,Pixelated Brain,, guy is probably about to make this patch very quietly not sharing his informations
plans in public which is a very good idea imo! I hope he is gonna finish it once and for all cos the only
enemy he could face is the SEGA company, if they sniff out the person who continues this project and get more and more information about him then game over!

He must be very careful and clever in order the achieve what he wants if he doesn't want to get in the same
trap Eduard and his team were in the past!

Yeah, that's a good strategy tbh. Better to announce it's finished than being worked on, as exciting as it is to share dev updates.
A lot of fan projects get stopped in their tracks when shared too early.

I support this game, no matter what. The game, "Streets of Rage Remake" introduced back in late 2000s. So I've look through everything about this fan game, and it's superb. Now that Remake 5.2 is still working process, I look forward for all the mods from the previous version. SOR4 would be excellent, but it is what it is. Plus, the game will look better, just need to take some time balancing.

Same here,I hope new enemies,bosses,stages,scenarios etc get added to it. As well as the SORMaker gets a massive upgrade too!

Oh by the guys,I have pictures of unused stuff that was scrapped during the development of SOR & I want to know where I can post it?
