A cross between Double Dragon and E-SWAT? It certainly makes sense why they reused the police car sprite from E-SWAT in the game.

Also noticed that an old member from the old forum, Mentski, posted something on that site's comment section. But I agree with him about how apparent the police car is now in SOR1. It sounds like at one time this game was going to be a spin-off from E-SWAT.

I still can't get over how the first and third boxes say the same exact thing in the captions, just worded differently.

I really just think that title screen was just blended in with the character select screen. The trademark signature at the end makes it stand out.

But besides Eddie, Blaze's portrait is also somewhat different. She looks like she has a much more broader nose than normal and lips just like her SOR1 portrait.

And it's interesting to point out that next to Barbon's Bar entrance, there's no car in the small alleyway where Jack should appear.

Yep, it's fake as hell. The Genesis couldn't produce that many colors on screen.

Also, why does the anchor not have his own portrait but everyone else does? Razz
