Streets of Rage 4

Adam is finally back, that's great! I love his animations, he looks more powerful than ever.

I could spot Ash but not Max, I wonder where he is?

STAGES:

ENNEMIES:
- Policeman (or security guard, can't tell much): they will try to pick up and use tasers.
- Barbon : back from SOR2. But I'm disappointed there is no change.

WEAPONS:
- Bottles (in the bar scene, they shine meaning they can be picked up).
- Tasers. (seen on airport ground and certainly can be picked up too).

PLAYABLE CHARACTER:
ADAM HUNTER (yeah \O/)
-He's got his basic combo, suplex and throw from SOR1 alright.
-His uppercut doesn't seem to throw ennemies mid-air anymore.
-Has long range with blunt weapons as in SOR1.
-His A defensive is kinda similar to the one given in SORR V4.
-His special techniques seem to focus more on pushing.

RELEASE DATE:
Should be first half of 2020

We have confirmation that Adam Hunter can dash instead of running and will auto change direction if you dash through an enemy.

No problem I am surprised there were no new playthrough videos with Adam from this years pax south I even saw a tweet from Dotemu that they would like to see one too but seems no one did.

I can't tell for sure if he meant Skate wasn't there at all or if he wasn't there in the demo.

Guess Skate is sitting this one out for no reason like Max did in SOR3.

Thanks to a tester from GameFaqs, we get some new details:
- Max isn't there.
- You can have more than one star at a time.
- Adam's air special is similar to Ryu's tatsumaki (hurricane kick)
- Charge attacks are back but with a twist! It now does a powerful attack, for example Adam does a heavy boot kick. Character glow when the charge attack is ready.
- Back attack can now be executed by pressing Back and the attack button at the same time.

Nice find I'm going to guess Skate and Max will be unlockable or dlc.

Well, the title screen they show at the end leaves room for one more prominently featured character. If they decide on including him, Zan would likely be the first playable senior citizen in a beat 'em up game, since SOR4 is going to be set 10 yrs. after SOR3.

Thank goodness he has cybernetic parts now so he can just oil himself instead of waiting for death.

Been a minute since I've popped in here. The last character is a new entry named Floyd as shown in the Steam achievements. Quite a few things were shown in that last video like their redesigns of Electra, Abedede, Hakuyo, male versions of the Bikers etc. There's new stages shown as well. Though I believe Ice has a good idea of the order of the stages, 3 of them I know for sure is the streets stage as stage 1, biker bar as stage 5 and china town as stage 6. My other guess is the air force base is stage 4 with that wasteland scene being part of it or maybe the wasteland is stage 5 ending with the biker bar.

No unlockables confirmed yet but post launch support was talked about, online doesn't seem likely to be there on launch either but I'm pretty sure it's considered for said post launch content. Also if no one noticed this the music is dynamic and changes when the screen moves to the next wave of enemies.

Also we have ourselves a little cameo from a beloved ninja

Zan? Floyd? If that's new last character, the old characters will be back as DLC characters for the future. hmmm

2 players mode Online!

I think it's been removed since but he's announced now haha. Also don't forget Limit Run Games is doing a Physical release and Storm Collectables is doing an axel figure.
