I would like a full list of credits for people to see / use

i know you can get them ingame if you finish the last level but i would rather not have to screen print everything and type it all
im pretty sure someone has a list somewhere...

We're currently in the process of moving the blog information over which will eventually include the full credits.

Where I can download the version 5.0a? There isn't download link in the Downloads topic.

I don't know whether this is related to v.5.0a or certain settings or even to Win 7, but I recently started playing SORR again and it shows a strange and annoying lag at certain times where the music as well as the animation on screen is slowed to a stutter. It does not last long, but it is annoying. So ... anyone has an idea what could be the cause and remedy? Thanks in advance, guys!

Might be some rogue process in the task manager dragging your PC down, or gobbling up all the RAM?

Apart from that, not too sure...

Yeah, I get the same thing since I moved to Win 7. It is really annoying but there is no fix to it I'm afraid.

I've only ever used SORR on Win 7 and I've never had those problems.

Was the release of v5.0a done by the developer's themselves soon after 5.0 or did someone manage to edit the .dat file? If so, is there a chance the xBR filter (specifically 4xBR) can be implemented?

Please read the forum rules and ask questions in the questions topic. There will be no support for more graphics filters.

Was made by the developers before the SEGA tantrum so yes, it's official. And no, won't be open source and no, Bombergames staff (yes, some are still around) won't give permission to hack the game.

If only some of us do experience the lag on Win7, isn't it probably related to certain settings then?

Could be. Or it could be something else on the computer doing it.

If you thought it could be the settings you could try playing around with the graphics section, see if you get a difference. I only use the full-screen setting, no filters.

Possible solutions:

-check the game speed
-change the graphic mode (disable the filters)
-set frameskip to auto if it isn't selected

I'll play around a bit with the settings and will report back once I found something. I'm regularily using scanlines btw.

The scanlines filter shouldn't be a problem, the worst one is HQ2X.

Control menu does not allow 1p2p to set the same button

Only way I've done it in the past is by using the JoytoKey program to set the control pad buttons to keyboard buttons, then setting up control pad for player 1 and keyboard for player 2. The controller then should act as it's playing both.

Quite some time has passed since I've been active on the SORR forum so I've decided to check it again today and WHOAA! New forum? New SORR version AND we can freely post download links?! Could someone bring me back to speed? Did SEGA unblocked this project?

No, this is a new forum, by fans for fans and is independent of Bombergames. As the old forum was closing we decided to keep the community alive and created this new forum and moved as much of the old info over and of course all the Sormaker mods.

One more thing, every time I unpack the 5.0a rar archive, I get an crc error that two ogg files are broken. I redownloaded it three times already but it's the same every time. What puzzles me even more is that those are not the same ogg files each time but it's always two oggs. Did anyone else encountered this problem before?

EDIT: I downloaded it two more times and finally it extracted without errors, weird...

Since playing the game I was hoping to thank the developers with a few nice words, could someone point me in the right direction?

What version is the mac port? That's the one I'm playing, and I tend to believe it's 5, and not 5a.
