Well she has a lot of throw techniques that are effective, her air attacks are powerful and fast, her Kikosho has a lot of power, low risk and range on a single attack. That combined with her speed being the fastest behind Skate makes her a very complete character.

Yes, I realize that DeusX87/Augmented Antics already created Roll for SOR2. But I couldn't resist creating my own version of her. I accidentally made DK too big, even bigger than Bowser and some of DK's sprites occupy too many tiles for the other player.

Man, I wish more people were into the Streets of Rage Hacking scene.

I enjoyed it a lot initially, I did a LOT of betatesting for Red Crimson and even did some custom playable boss palettes (not sure if they made it to the final). The thing is though that SoRRV5 kinda trumped all other SoR projects for me and I burned myself out on the series by playing it so much.

Ontop of that the hacks that I really enjoyed were the ones using content originally from the SoR series, and those stopped being pumped out for a while. I'm still hoping someone does a 3-4 player hack for at least one of the games but that's pretty far off unfortunately.

I'm feeling this way as well. BKM Blaze, Adam and all enemies hacks were awesome and a few outside characters like sketch turner were cool but a lot of other stuff I kind of lost interest in. I had quite a few ideas myself but they won't likely surface for a long time given my perfectionism, life and other things.

Go ahead and laugh at it... I can't draw very well and have to rely on 3D models for my own characters.

Same here guys. BKM Blaze, Ultimate Blaze, Barbon, and Abadede were my favorite. I liked Flame Ninja, Adam and Shiva but they feeled a bit rushed. By the way Mr Din, do you keep doing awesome SoR Custom Sprite ? (I love them, really). And what about Brawler Avenue ? This project is very interresting and maybe I should PM you for talking about it.

No Mortal Kombat Pancake edit of Streets of Rage 2 can be complete without that Fatality cry from Mortal Kombat II. I've been playing too much SOR2 lately, so I wouldn't be creating another Pancake edit anytime soon... preferably another full character set through Syndicate Wars hack.

A 4-player hack would be too problematic and result in too much sprite flickering... it's bad enough there could be slow down issues in 2-player mode considering that with 2 players you fight up to 6 enemies on screen instead of 5 (this is most apparent at Stage 2-2 where the 2nd Hakuyo spawns even before defeating the 1st one). This also means more uncompressed tiles have to occupy the VRAM and more RAM addresses to store information for Players 3 and 4.
