no, play it. the bugs are only graphic glitches, and the only char that really doents works is max. all the others works now.
however, take care with those ..3? chars that crashes if you try to perform with they the blitz attack (right, right +b).

max-
1) dont hit with their punches, but yes with any other attacks.
2) their sprites fail when perform his defensive special. i think that this doents happens in the previous vers
stage 2, truck- 2nd punk nemy on the landscape fails in their sprites for the left arm and their foots.
blaze-
1) sprites fail when performed their stand special.
galsia-
suggestion: when take a knife, i think that will be interesting that the playable galsia can perform a run, just like the original galsia enemies sometimes comes too fast, when they take knifes.
or at least, that he can run a bit more with the knife. and not be too slow.
donovan-
he can perform a blitz attack that doents have, and freezes.
jack-
fails int he sprites when get hes own knifes, and with the knife in their hands, or throwing the knife.
the animation of the knife in their hand only fails if there are a buch of enemies/elements on screen. for example: it fails to me in the boat, but not when i get out of the bombs zone and go for facing the boss.
after play many differents sor2 hacks, i think that these zone is full of elements, and cause a little over memory into the game.
stage 6, fabric- fail of the sprites in the grabed ninja (buoh), near the end of the stage.
electra-
fail of their sprites when eloctroshocked by other elektra enemy meanwhile he was over one conveyor belt. (last part of the stage 6 pabric, just before pass the stage and take the elevator).
hakuyo-
suggestion: in certain conditions, the enemy version attacks using a high kick (without jump) for air enemies.
for example: playing with the free for all patch, in the pirate zone, just before the pirate ship, if you dont move forward, he starts to do those kicks a lot awaiting for one above enemy that doents fall until that you go further, to the right.
hakuyo also do this against you, if you are playing with jet and are positioned higher in the air. and he can hits you prefectly with that, menawhile you dont are on the top of the stage for can avoid him.
in fact, he do this kick repeatedly if you are high over him. and this is useful for him, cause if you try to go down and catch him, he can attack you easily doing that kick repeatdly.
this missing hakuyo kick, could be added by keep the B button. like on other chars like the thai boxing "eagle" . however, hakuyo ALREADY have one fast attack punch by keep the b button... so the best for add this kick will be push a+b buttons, or b+c.
jet-
he can perform a blitz attack that doents have, and freezes.
zamza-
2 rare fails that i dont know why happens...
sometimes, and only when exist enemies on the screen, ramdomly he perform fake uppercuts (pressing button a without move).
or also do a fake jump, when you try to keep b button for perform the auto attack of "jump +down kick" attack. he porform a fake jump before, and then, he do followed the correct "jump +down kick" of the auto attack.
note: this things happens to me in the boat stage. a stage where there exist many elements that looks can overpass the game memory.
r.bear-
he cant perform now some of their attacks, or the game completelly crash.
-those crashed attacks are:-
blitz attack.
jump attack (only sometimes). this one happens to me against the first big ben of the jungle stage 6, before the bikes and the group with many enemies and 2 elektras.
note: when i get a fail, i simply load state for can continue playing.
so... maybe that jump crashes are just memory fails after crash the game for do a blitz attack, and load the previous state. (i means that load the state maybe will cause that the game become unstable)
or maybe not, and those jump crashes are just memory fails, that makes r.bear crash when you perform a jump in certain places. i dont know it for sure...
abadede-
fail in the sprites when perform their blitz "run+attack" punch.
missing electrocution sprites. he falls standing
suggestion: honestly, i think that abadede is a little slow for their running attack. just like galsia with his knife. a bit more of speed will be really good for both.
mr.x-
fail in their sprites when grabbed. for example: this happens to me in stage 8 against the r.bear.
suggestion: same case that before. i think that mr.x as enemy, sometimes perform a blitz attack or something like that, cause he runs faster to you for attack you with the butt of the gun.
i think that this fast motion can be added directly with the butt gun attack. for example keeping the b button.
or maybe could be like with abadede. adding only the run, and that you must push attack for end that run/blitz attack.
shiva-
fail in the sprites during final crash or rising from the ground after been hit (he uses the same sprite for that jump in both cases).
fail of the sprites when enemy shiva jumps from mr.x place to attack you.
hight scores screen-
fail showing the names, it looks happens when certain chars, but like there not appears the correct names and there not exist shots of their faces, i cant know who are those players that creates the fails.
anyway it looks like all the playable enemies chars cause trouble in the points screen.

one IMPORTANT thing that i forget to say about sor2 syndicate wars hack v0.9...
gsaurus say that is possible now using pancake with this hack for add things to it.

so, is supposed that you can include new chars over one sor2 sw 0.9 as base...
however, i dont know what is the limit about how many things you can include. but i suppose that always that not overpass the 4mb memory limits that real genesis have. (so as always, cant be one rom of 4mb).
this open a really intersting window on hacking...
for example, i remenber those 2 cool hacks made by adrimus some time ago. where you can play as one abadede and ninja customized by him.
well, now imagine that is possible take the original playable enemies and add to they new animations or attacks. and create your own version of galsia or even shiva, mrx...

Very interesting since i tried to add the adrimus Ninja in SW few weeks ago using pancake 2.16b but the tool "told me" that the patched rom does not fit. Have you tried?

but if you keep having some problem about this, then the best is ask directly to him.

What I did is pick SoR2 Rom, apply first SW patch, then repatch it with 0.9.

did you know sor3 project hack from gsaurus?
well, he does one "extra patch" (like the sor2sw "free for all"), for have the sor2 screw kick of skate on sor3.
so gsaurus does 2 patches, one for the sor3 normal, and other compatible with one sor3 project hack rom.
i suppose that this extra patch for screw kick, includes inside the sor3 project patch too. but not...
so, i become crazy doing test beetwhen this and others old sor3 project hacks, thinking that i do something wrong there... hehehe

im doing some fangames packs, including street fighter 1 and 2 mugen remakes, some cools openbors, and even a fangames pack too.
beetwhen they, i included "night slashers x openbor" edited by me for add more continues and 4 players, and also 2 versions of "alien versus predator mugens", with different amount of players included.
those games can be taken both for play or take sprites too...

2)i already done my 3 packs of bors, mugens and fangames.
3)i also included a new fangame i was playing now. that is scared the damn... is named "slender". and is based on that terror history of the slenderman.

is a big recopilation. i include some intersting things like the super cool night slashers x openbor edited, with 4 players 9999 credits and clone chars, or for example the avsp mugen, the street fighter 1&2 mugens that i have, the golden axe bors that i have. and many other things .
mostly of those mugens or openbors was edited by my. for include cheats, chars, modes or some little thing.
3)i also included a new fangame i was playing now. that is scared the damn... is named "slender". and is based on that terror history of the slenderman.

is a fps without weapons where you must run on a forest at night, with only a flashlight (i would prefer have there a flametrower, but well...), scaping from a man, who can appear in else thing, and beetwhen the music and him appearing. the damn game is pretty scary. :Peven playing at daylight! hehe.

the 432 hertz frecuency versus the actual iso of 440 hertzs...
i put there an example and the history about this. and a video where you can hear imagine and see that is a fact that it sounds much better on 432 hertzs than on 440 hertzs.

well, finally i uploaded a new video on my channel. is my little homage to the streets of rage games and hacks, along with others of the best sega genesis games.
it not have audio comments, cause i dont have microphone or something for save my voice. but well, is better than nothing...
