Hello everyone, for a long time I've been developing this program to facilitate the activation of mods in sorr.
GMS was written in Batch Script and is open source.
More information in the images below and in the texts of the archive.
A new version programmed in Python will be released in the future.

Any criticism, suggestion or praise comment here.

I will always update the link below to the latest version (2021/08/24).

Very cool utility! I just tried it, and it works really well - i clearly prefer it over the old mod starter, which offered bare-bones functionality in comparison. That's also some impressive BATCH-skills on display here - i tip my hat. Thumbs up

Would you mind if i use your code to build a launcher for my mod? I know some batch, but your skills are leaps beyond mine.

Thanks for the feedback. I am happy to be collaborating with the SORR community and that GMS is serving to learn Batch Script. I authorize anyone to edit the program, I just say that if people decide to distribute their own versions of GMS it is important to keep credit to me.

I believe you should either add support mods that require complex installation, or somehow the feature for the users to choose mods of their choice. Here are some of the mods I suggest:
- Golden Rage
- Final Rage Trilogy
- Vendetta: Dead End City Stories
- Streets of Gotham
- Many of the mods made by Cm_Blast

I agree that it is important to meet user preferences. Therefore, there will be support for more mods in the next version of GMS, not for all mods, but the most important ones will be present.
In the case of the Final Rage Trilogy, I'm not sure if it needs to be included in the program, as there is Rescue Metro City, which is a much more complete mod, but maybe I will include it one day.
At the moment, the only way to include custom mods is to edit the program. I still don't have enough knowledge in the batch script to create a function that makes it easier.

So you plan to add embedded mods or something? Remember most modern mods require both a palette scheme and a data folder.

The program access data and palettes folders from all projects available in the compatibility list. In addition, GMS can access songs from mods to eliminate copies of songs they have in common with each other and between SORR. And many other features.

* Added option to use or not chars from level mods.
* Added option to uninstall all chars in chars section.
* Added option to reset the configurations.
* Solved problem in script for Rushing Beat mod, now its possible to play this mod using chars.

New version of GMS (27/06/20)

* Added support for the Additional Rage v1.1 mod, now the GMS supports 20 mods.
* Some scripts have been updated, now the character voices are not replaced and it is possible to enable and disable chars in all mods.
* Changes in the vegeta script, it is recommended to use the char version available in the chars option of the download section.
* Download section updated, chars are now accessed in a single link that redirects to a folder on G. Drive.
* Bugs fixed.

When a mod has custom music, I should just leave the .ogg files in that particular mod's folder, right ? The readme only mentions sounds so I'm not sure...

It is not yet possible to use the axel (sor3) and skate (sor3) patch characters. In the next version of the program I will include support for them.
