V4 Remake and Bonus Mini-Mod Rudra's Story

Thanks for making this, I never had the chance to try V4 and now I can just use your mod.

I've been using this on PC and on Xbox. On the PC it doesn't have any problems, but on the Xbox the images from the cutscenes doesn't show.

Rundra's Story works well in the PC and in the Xbox, only V4 Remake has problems.

Glad you are enjoying the mod. I don't have an Xbox to test, but I do know there was a new build of SORR for Xbox after v5.0 came out. Maybe you have an older version? You can find the updated build for Xbox on theisozone.com in the Homebrew section if you search for Streets of Rage Remake.

I'm using the latest version of the xbox port.

I tried other mods, and the Streets of Rage 2 for V5 also has the same problem. So now I'm assuming that the problem is on the xbox port (or maybe on my xbox), the problem is not in the mods.

Added some new cabinets to the arcade, nicer than a load of Bare Knuckle cabinets for sure.

Decided to add a bit of platform jumping so Stage 2

Thanks guys! I must say I am really enjoying adding little things like this after a break of about 3 years from the mod

I'll reduce the filesize of the animated intros/endings using the new method and will probably add alt endings for the bomb route due to the new features. Also, I have made Rudra's Story as an unlockable on completion of the mod. I may add a few tweaks to that too as it is only 3 stages and I made it in a week way back when.

Don't get me wrong, I don't try to charge you with more work but as you are working on all of this, I think it's time to tell you this. I remembered that the last update of the rudra's story have wrong palette/name for the final boss (blaze). I hope this will be fixed (already fixed in my own version of course, but you know, better for everyone !)

...uh-huh, mostly. How do you go about downloading this? I'm aware by now that you take the extracted .rar and place it in a folder, but which? I'm guessing the mod folder, but I don't know all the details. It pays to ask, or so they say, so anyone wanna walk me through this? :'3

Simply extract the contents of the .rar file to the mod->games folder and it should appear on your Sormaker list from the SORR menu.

Well, I played both of them last night, and for the first mods I've ever tried, they were amazing! :3 I've seen very little of V4 on Youtube, so I can honestly say that most of it came as a surprise for me. It's completely different, and apart, from V5, so it gives me the freedom to mix it up once in a while.

As for Rudra's story, I liked it. There were some unique stages that I wished lasted a little longer (i.e., Snowy Mountain), and I found Shiva very easy to beat at the end despite the difficulty settings. I wish her story would be a full 8 stages, but it IS called a "mini-mod" after all. x3

All-in-all, I give 'em a 3/5. :3

Ahh, but that leaves us with the slight little issue of the twins.pal file you included. :C I read, "please replace the file in your SoRR palette directory", and so I did.

When I fought Blaze in the helicopter, she had the twins 1 palette; the dark/purple clothes. ...Which means not only did I replace the wrong file, but when I fight the twins in Story Mode again, they're gonna be BLAZE COPIES! AHHHH!!!

So yeah. Anyone have a backup pal of the twins' original green palette?
