But honestly, I don't think you will be able to find anything that would play like the classic RE games or SH games if thats what you are looking for.

I remember there was this hack n slash horror-themed game on the PSX called Nightmare Creatures. Don't know if it holds up well at all or not, but I remember it being two players.

Haha, I'm just looking for something that actually has a creepy atmosphere. Any gameplay style is fine as long as it has some form of 2-player co-op

Aside RE5, 6 and Revelations, there's also Dead Space 3 and Obscure on PS2.

Speaking of which, a group of fans has managed to establish private servers and now you can play both Outbreak games online again. Can't try coz I don't have everything needed with the PS2
