After you said the composer being very successful and doing movies, I knew it was Jesper Kyd immediately. :PHe does create some of the best music in the industry (Adventures of Batman & Robin still is my fav.)

Well you are right that it is 8-bit.

Hint 1: It was originally developed for the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad. It was then later ported to the Commodore 64, DOS, NES, Amiga, and Atari ST. This particular version of the song comes from the Commodore version.

Hint 2: The game is the second in a eight-game series. There were six spin-offs from this series as well. The core series spanned from 1987-1992.

Fuck yeah! Zombie Hopper by Kaname! From the game Bust a Groove(Move) 2: Dance Tengoku Mix (Bio's BGM). I mastered that game in all ways possible and have the whole soundtrack with full tracks in their original CD's. Fantastic game! Very Happy

Yep, DV got it. I too mastered both Bust A Groove games, though I don't have the OST's, I love the music of both games. IMO they were the best music/rythm games of all time.

Also, as for the new song... GTAIV The Ballad of Gay Tony?

And nope.

It is licensed music alright (not heavily or otherwise I wouldn't be able to put it on soundcloud), however, and as a hint, most of the licensed music this game has (which is a lot, including D12, Control Machete, Motorhead, Cypress Hill, etc.), it's ahead of the time setting of the movi---I mean, game.
