Did anyone get Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara on PSN/Xbox Live/eShop, if so, what did you think of it?

Pam Grier? I'm sold! You're under arrest, baby!Saven wrote:lol I know what you mean. As soon as I heard it I was instantly reminded of that conversation.Don Vecta wrote:
lol to the Rebel Radio nod to one of the old GTA 3 Chatterbox's call... if you heard that station that much as I did you'll get it immediately (and cool they added Rockabilly besides country music).
As far as stations I'm interested in, I am looking forward to West Coast Classics, Channel X, and East Los FM. So far, mixed feelings as well but I can't wait to hear the Pam Grier soul station. I gotta feeling that will be the best station in the entire game.

Re: Games: News & Releases
They just announced Soul Calibur : Lost Swords which apparently will be the Tekken Revolution counterpart of the SC series.
I just heard Tekken Revolution was a F2P game, can anyone here just enlight me more about this game? Does it have a lot of contents in the beginning, how frequently does it update, how expensive, does it play nice, on which game it is based, etc...

Re: Games: News & Releases
Capcom's president once again wants to prove just how big of a moron he is. You know how they've said multiple times they want to increase there DLC? Well he is saying yet again they want to increase it even further!
http://www.gamespot.com/news/capcom-predicting-severe-contraction-of-packaged-market-6414268
Plus he put out this brilliant chart to go along with it.
I've seen more logical and well thought out diagrams from a 7 year old, seriously. Never seen a company led by anyone with there head shoved so far up there own ass before. See this cash, Capcom, the one in my pocket? Guess who's gonna take it? Rockstar Games, Rocksteady, Namco... not you, Capcom, not you.

Re: Games: News & Releases
Oh shit. Bad news for Atlus fans, Sega bought them.
Never actually played any Atlus game before, but I know they have a really strong cult following and it must suck knowing that they will never see any games from them again and have characters only to be seen in Sonic All-Star Racing sequels.
RIP every Atlus franchise ever made.

Harada has been very active talking about the roster for Tekken x Street Fighter tonight.
They need to do a HD remake of M. Bison's ending from Street Fighter Ex Plus Alpha.
Oh, and Skullomania as the final boss too.

Re: Games: News & Releases
Have any of you guys heard about the new Shinji Mikami survival horror game?
Supposed to take survival horror back "to its roots." Mikami is apparently disappointed at how much action there is in survival horror games nowadays.
Which I think is funny because that was my biggest complaint about Resident Evil 4.
But regardless, I will be keeping a close eye on this one and it does look very interesting. I've been itching for a survival horror game that focuses on surviving and not being trigger-happy about everything, and an empty and spooky atmosphere like the old Resident Evil and Silent Hill games were like. I hope we see more of this in this game.

River City Ransom has been successfully funded. They're still looking to do an alternate kickstarter for their stretch goals which include ports and other things.

That's awesome! Never played the original game but I know Scott Pilgrim the game was heavily based on it and I loved it!Mr.Din wrote:River City Ransom has been successfully funded.

I might consider donating too if they're opening a 2nd kickstarter.
I already tried to suggest WayForward (Double Dragon Neon, Ducktales Remastered) to open a kickstarter for a potential new SoR game but they replied saying it's up to SEGA ><'
Regarding The Evil Within game, yes it does look brilliant and there's that atmosphere that was missing in some Resident Evil or Silent Hill games but it's pretty much the same gameplaywise to me, not much that different from RE4/5/6 or Dead Space to me.

Re: Games: News & Releases
I like wayforward and DDNeon but I'd have trouble trusting deliverance on a new SoR unless they somehow became a little more interactive with the fans. DD Neon is a great title but it lacks a lot of things in the gameplay, not to mention Wayforward took too much time on finally delivering on online play, I'd be glad to see a new SoR regardless but I'd be skeptical on rather or not it would evolve the series or at least match every element that makes the series awesome.iceweb38 wrote:That's awesome! That and SEGA seems like they'd not only make it a rush job but also wouldn't advertise the game properly.
the alternate kickstarter for River City Ransom Underground is here:
http://rivercityransom.com/kickstarter
I already pledged 40 but I think I'll be adding more for the physical copy and soundtrack.

I'm not a fan of Call of Duty or Battlefield (though I admit I had a little fun trying Battlefield), but I can't deny they have pretty much perfected the online multiplayer FPS genre.bazzza wrote:Maybe so but a lot of people like buying into shit, the same goes for call of duty, and battlefield, batman games there all big sellers and well praised and there all shit too.badjab326 wrote:Damn, you sound salty. The Arkham games on the other hand came up from nowhere and became the best superhero game of all time. If you ever read comics, watched the cartoon or even the movies you should appreciate the attention to detail that went into these games. If you're not a fan that's fine, but you can't just call it shit for no reason.
I'm surprised you even like SoRR since all you seem to do is bash good games.
