HELP how do use sormake widescreen in sorrv5.2

All i found was create a file called enable_widescreen and put it in the mod folder but what kind of file notpad? well it doesn't WORK

You take a .txt file, rename it enable_widescreen and delate .txt extension. It will be a 0 size file.
