BKM Blaze mod with Palettes

Special thanks to SoulFireBlaze for pointing me in the right direction to help me put this together

So I'm sure most of you know that CajNatalie was working on bringing Bare Knuckle Mobile Axel and Blaze into the game as replacements for SOR2 Axel and Blaze and then she sorta disappeared. then Don Vecta releaed his awesome mod "Vendetta: Dead End City Stories" and contained withing were these characters

for some whatever reason though the Palettes for BKM Blaze were missing, So I though I'd fix that. I also decided to make some slight changes to the fpg files for Blaze to make it more custom Palette friendly.

Old&New


literally all I changed the Orange and Brown to Yellow and Orange on the feet. you can mess with the hair color a bit without it effecting the feet for a couple of odd pixels

I also tidied up the palette colors to make customizing easier


1st row is the Jacket and Skirt
2nd row is Skin and Hair
3rd row is the black leggings
4th row 1st color is the outline 2nd and third and the wrist part of the gloves but also the
colors of her flaming like techniques. and the 4th effects the color of her Kikosho

All are organized from Lightest to Darkest

The Download File contains the editted FPG's and Palettes, a bunch of which I made myself

Hi, thank you for posting this mod, now i finnaly can make my own BKM Blaze pallets.

Edited the first post to make the download link appear in code so we don't get bugged by adfly.

I have a request for you, though, and this could help a lot for some modding coloring for certain characters in mods. I need a color separation for Barbon, especially in the whites of his skin and his pants, I would like to be able to make dark colored pants without altering his skin. If you're able to do so, I'll be certainly grateful for that.

Glad you guys liked it, btw made a few more tweaks to the FPG, some frames of her standing animation had some brown pixels (hair and skin outline) on her red jacket so I changed them to be more custom Palette friendly. I updated the link in the top post to have the new version. just replace the old "sor2_blaze.fpg" and "f_sor2_blaze.fpg" with ones in the download.

As for color seperating Barbon, I might take a crack at it a bit later.

I should state that I am not involved with the creation of Bare Knuckle Mobile Blaze, nor did I make this color mod. What I did do was tell Sshadow5001 how he can go about making mods like my Elle color mod.

I did put that in the first line of the initial post, you more or less gave me to tools to be able to make them. I'll edit the top post to make that more clear.

Sorry my bad, anyway thanks for sharing with us information about editing characters, I would like to personally thank you for saying how to edit palette files, I couldn't figure out how to do it, and I need this for my project.

I think I remember seeing that on a Russian site though there didn't seem to be any download links.

I'm a massive fan of streets of rage, final fight, beat em' up games, fighting games, and anime. Plus, I've been a streets of rage fan since 2001.

Hey, I'm pretty much a noob at modding SorR but i've seen this sprite mod by deathadder for Sor3 Blaze with BK1 blaze outfit.. Only problem is that it's a mod for Sor4 and goddamn I can't get sor4 to work on my pc, apparently it requires a Patch for win7 and its links are broken.

I sent you a link for the patch. Do you have a copy of the .fpg file? or are you only referring to an old picture? even a video would be helpful

I only looked for a mod because it sucks how you can't change BK3 Blaze's hair colour to black without changing her entire body's colour.

In this video i managed to change the color of her bracelet to blue. If you request something different for your version of blaze i could do that too

Can you separate BK3 blaze's hair colour like Elle's colour separation Mod by Soulfireblaze? when i try editing blaze's hair colour it colours her entire body, so i tried making her hair black like in Sor1 but it just colours her face&legs jet black too.

yes i can, and you have a very good idea about the black hair. ok ill do that ASAP.

That SoR1 Blaze seems to more or less have all the sprites needed to replace V5 SoR3 Blaze. I might take a crack at doing that later, I much prefer the outfit on SoR1 Blaze anyway.

Ok going through all the sprites it seems there is a bit of work to do. I'm gonna have a crack at doing a full color separation conversion of this custom Blaze character, it's probably gonna take a few weeks but I think it'll be worth it

ok you can try with deathadders's version of blaze. personally i was pretty impressed with those. ill try to color separate the colors for sor3 blaze with blackhair
