Stage and Sprite Locations

Just wondering if anyone knew any good websites where i could find stages and sprites to rip for my Mod

Also, some links are already dead (especially Cristalix packs) since those were uploaded on the RIP Megaupload. If those packs can be re-uploaded we'd be VERY grateful.

The sites I HIGHLY recommend to check out to get resources are:

- http://www.spriters-resource.com/ Best. Resource. Site. Ever. It updates periodically and has already tons of useful stuff to use.
- http://www.vgmaps.com/ Problem with them is the layers are not separated so you need to cut them to have scrolling. Pretty much useless if it has foregrounds stuck.
- http://spritedatabase.net/ This site it's okay, but they have more sprite work than backgrounds. The few maps done there have great quality.

BTW, I personally dislike bghq.com site since their resources are pretty much useless: While screenshots doesn't bother me, what ticks me off is that they don't separate the layers whatsoever, therefore, those resources are as useful as a cock-flavored lollypop!

If you have other sites where we can get resources please give us links. I'm personally a resource hoarder so I can create my own scenes with them. Kinda became a mania to do so, lol.



I personally find the first link useful if I don't want to rip it out of a game myself.

The Fighter Generation is a great ressource for sprite from fighting game.
Thus they are put into gif, it is easy to extract them with any "picture maker/editor" software.
