This was my favorite thread on the old forums because I'm a big fan of competition and challenges (hence why I love SORR ). So, let us revive the spirit of Jiroshinto's thread and get skull cracking!

In another thread I mentioned I was "going for the platinum", meaning I was certain I could reach 200k with Elle in Round 1. I'm sure Bomber didn't think we would go so far into S rank. Well, perhaps we could distinguish certain milestones of S-Ranks with a medal suffix (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.).

Bronze - 125,000+
Silver - 150,000+
Gold - 175,000+
Platinum - 200,000+
Diamond - 225,000+

I'm not so be interesting in Survival Mode (Boss Rush better!), but my record is 283,786.

145,655 was my best, and that was months ago before I took a break and came back as a much better player. (though I cba to try again and get more)

On another side-note, I didn't intend to be rude by making this thread, as Magnus had already made one... but the first post went poof lol. What can I say, I wanted to keep track of scores .

Zangief looks awesome lol. I've personally never done that well with Max. Suppose I need to spam the slide more hehe.

EDIT: I have to let go this from the bottom of my heart.

I FUCKING HATE THE SOR2 SURVIVAL STAGE!

I dunno, the rest of the stages are rather fun and I enjoy them even if I get my ass kicked, but I simply can't enjoy the SOR2, it's beyond frustrating. The main source of frustration: FUCKING KICKBOXERS! You get these assholes quite early in the sub-boss division and sometimes you get 4 of those cheap assholes in there.Furthermore, if you get a stupid Jet as well it's immediate game over.

I guess if only those cheap asshole kickboxers weren't in the roster (or lined up as the last sub-boss division type of mook and with less chance in the RNG), the SOR2 survival would be a lot more fun.

Please welcome ol' CajNatalie the Blaze 3 master, and XLHGladiator the jack of all trades, to the list! We need to get these two to step up to the modern era of survival .




I personally LOVE the pressure of the first stage! While the kickboxers are a pain, SoR 2 enemies are my favorite. Grapple chaining kickboxers, or keeping them on their ass is the way to go.

I'm back in the habit and it's time Roo had a spotlight in survival.

A gorgeous run. You make it look like if it was so easy.

Great usage of grabs to rack up points, guess that's his advantage of low damage input as you can capitalize in more grabs and more points.

I noticed Roo has a very interesting grab recovery that usually catch attacking enemies on re-grab.

And lol to the derp-a-doodle-doo of the chicken, LMAO!

Thanks lol! It's not easy, especially with Bear in the mix. Good thing no jets dropped in for the game over.

Characters like Shiva 3 can actually defeat mooks so fast that they gain points faster than pure throw sessions. I suppose Max does both. Beasty!

It's been a while.

Also, while I'm here, if you're reading this and are in some part responsible for making this game, thank you. This is one of the few games that I consistently go back and play, just because it plays so damn well. Amazing that such a good game is fan-made.

The round 2 was quite thrilling... especially since you just were an inch to get your ass kicked before reaching 100k. From there on, it was a walk in the park (or so it seemed).

Thank you! I'd love to see more people posting survival videos, however likely that may be. Looks like there are plenty of characters to cover! I've been trying to get some good scores over 100k for Blaze1 in between work. I've gotten some good ones, but nothing I'm entirely satisfied with after the Adam videos. I guess I'll get it eventually.

Respect to you for being great with Max! I've tried to get good with him and it just hasn't worked out so far.

Round 2 was extremely entertaining! Indeed, you played it quite chill, yet proactive. A real smooth criminal. I love seeing the unique play-styles of everyone as they reach the top of their game. Congratulations on making it to the Top 10!

I've not watched the other rounds yet, as I have some people to glorify .

Here is a picture of my first ever S rank I did try and record it but Wankicam fucked up on me I did take a picture of it with Snippet but I am think as well this will not count since I have not shown the score with the character I was playing as. It was on stage 4 with the only character I will ever be good with the awesome Rudra.

Does it matter than I my only s rank was done in 5.1, I look at the rankings bronze, silver, gold platinum, and diamond do you think they seem a big high now the points you need to get for them since some previous scores were done with 5.0a witch is easier.

5.1 is a bit harder for everyone with the removal of most of the rolling invincibility frames. Blaze1's blitzes also have less or no invincibility to them now. I think it'll be tough to match the 5.0a scores in 5.1, but I guess we'll find out over time.
