so...I've been trying to import new sprites but I'm having some problems. The new sprite when replaced by the FPG edit, the color palette is changed:

I don't know why this happens. I've tried to import the same sprite with and without noise, but another error happens when importing without noise.

In FPG edit there is the option to adjust the palette...

however, in game, the noise remains...

I don't know what to do... I've tried without the black background, adjust the sprite size to the original size, but nothing worked. Does anyone know what to do? I use FPGedit 2009, Smart FPG Edit V5.5 and FPG sprite Denoiser. Facepalm with a Desk

@Otto

  You have some options, the problem is simple, the quality of converting from bmp to png (or png to bmp) is not adequate.  The first option is through the website Convertio.co, however the number of conversions is limited (only 10 files for free users). The second option is the conversion through digital art software, in my case, I use Aseprite, but it is paid software.
    The second situation is when we try to convert png to bmp, in this case, in addition to the previous options... we can use FPG edit itself to convert.  It's very simple... just import the PNG images to the FPG file, then extract using FPG edit, when extracting, you can select the format that will be converted, in this case to BMP.

@Teramussa

I have a question for you if your willing to answer. When you are creating modded characters for the game do you use a drawing tablet along with Aseprite to draw, or are you a mouse drawer. I'm working along similar lines at the moment related to sprite editing and just asking because I'm curious. Also, is their an update to the cop blaze ATM?

    no problem, I use a drawing tablet (Wacom One CTL-672) it helps me a lot when I need to work lines more freely.  But I don't always use it, it depends on the complexity of the work.  Some quick tweaks to a few pixels then I do it with the mouse.  At the end of the day everything is very dynamic.

    About the Blaze project I'm late...Unfortunately for me I have other priorities that end up leaving these fun activities in the background, but I've progressed since my last post about.  I readjusted some sprites, finished the normal and special moves.  Only the positions with melee weapons, firearms and sprites on vehicles, such as motorcycles and jet-skis, are missing.
     I don't do forum updates because I don't want to saturate the project before it's ready...there is still a lot to be done, but it is a matter of time.
