Blaze Sprite From Custom Game?

I saw this sprite in the banner from an old SoR fansite called soronline.net which is apparently in the process of being moved or rebuilt?
It appears to be based on Athena's walking animation from King of Fighters 2002.
Does anyone know if this sprite is from an actual game or was it just made for the site banner?

Hey Hansuke. This sprite wasn't from any game or openbor afaik. and I think wasn't just made for the website banner, maybe someone did just for fun and shared to the people.

The sprite looks like it was maybe copied from another game as a base, the animation is very Final Fight or King Of Fighters.
