Neat idea, I like the setting and the graphics fit it nicely. Some neat stages too, shame it's riddled with bugs and impossible-to-avoid pitfalls.

Just finished it. The musics are really retro and repetitive, the stages dull and simplistic, but all of this because the model of this tribute mod is a NES game. Besides, we can feel the creator made big efforts to be close to the original: customize objects, cutscenes... That's a good job. Because the original is a platform game, I had here big difficulties in some levels: or I lost a lot of lifes because of pits I don't understand the placement, or I stayed blocked in some floors because the scrolling didn't follow (especially the ice floors in stage 2). Last but not least, there are some scenes I really appreciated (the one with the serpent, the one in the little boat).

This version is better! I am still blocked sometimes because of the platforms (ice floors in stage 2) but when I go slowly, it is working. But may be you should cut the scene in two just before this path, so if the player is blocked, he can reload directly.
Nice the enemies have customized palettes now, but too bad the names are not customized.
A little too bad because the sound when a body knock down is so small that we almost don't hear it (se45.wav in data folder).

Wow, SORR Battletoads? I need to check Completed Mods more often! Downloading...

Ok, so I had a go last night.

The enemy placement gets a bit frustrating at times, especially with all the bikes. The platforming/gap jumping is kind of awkward and not something I would have personally included (doing small jumps on that bridge towards the end got tiresome). And for some reason, the mod edited some of my settings such as breaking weapons (I tend to use the SoR2 type) and the player not dropping back into gameplay after death. The text was all broken up aswell, and I've never been a fan of dialogue boxes during gameplay.

Good graphical and scaling work though. I liked the inclusion of the original map for new section intros. And putting Adam, Axel, and Blaze into the ship ending was a nice touch.
