Golden Axe

Is there a remake of Golden Axe, or a mod for this game essentially being the same thing, being made or planned? Golden Axe getting the same treatment would be awesome

I think there was one group making one awhile back, but it got canned.

Ahh, shame. I meant an actual remake of Golden Axe though, characters and all. Loved that just as much as Streets of Rage back in the day, both brilliant

I guess you could check the Lavalit community and see if there are any Golden Axe mods?
As far I know, there is no Golden Axe fangame other than mods.

Sega Australia was working before on something EXACTLY like that, in a project containing 3 sega classics to be merged into a single game as remakes... But Sega centrals ordered them to stop and closed the studio down, permanently... There was also some apha footage judging from which, game was really nice. Too bad, we will never know. I hate this type of things.
