Ok, this is the last preview for the album. For classic stages, I've intended for players to use old SOW tracks.
Here I'm using "Dream Park" (and later on "Avenue Of Blood" and "Onslaught II") from SOW2.
The stage clear, however, is still the new one I made for the mod.

Streets of wrath 1 and 2 are my favourite. The tracks goes well with this mod 10/10.

I put up a longplay of Adam's Story to my new soundtrack earlier today.
It features an edited down version of the mod, with most dialogue during stages removed. I call it '1994 Mode'.

There's a bit of news on Adam's Story and my Streets Of Wrath 3: Hunter Edition soundtrack.
Nat bought a copy and has left some interesting comments on my preview videos.
Nat: "Developer difficulty" desensitisation is a thing. This stage is a shining example of something we should've just... not done like this. I had to take enough of a break from the game to lose the desensitisation and get a good perspective of what I'd actually made here. Recently I ran Insanity route of this stage simply as a life sink if I found I was doing "too well" to force back tension. Makes me wonder why people thought what we did was one of the best of the best mods. Feels like I was one of the only people willing to criticise mods but only a couple of people stood up and criticised mine to me, so things resulted without us polishing this adequately, even in the 5.1 update.
As to the track you did. It's chill and lovely. Not the vibes of being "hunted by assassins" we were feeling in design. I've listened to a bunch of others so far and they've all hit the vibes pretty close. Was it that... you wished this stage would chill out? So you composed that wish into the music? xP
Me: Thanks for sharing the development history. It's good to get an insight into the working process.
As for my track, It was more about trying to match the visuals, the sense of altitude, and how many of the SOR titles mellow out the stage progression at the half-way point, which I believe was to build up again to the finale. Many of the Hunter Edition tracks scale back from the SOW sound I previously did, which was overly influenced by Sonic Mania, as SOW1 came out at a similar time. I wanted to go more simplified and catchy, like SOR1 and 2 are.
