[PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
Hello there,
It will be great if someone would please port that fabulous game to that great platform.
With fb display it would shine in the game Retroarch emulationstation library

I've already posted on the Retroarch forums to see if a port of the language used to create SorR, BennuGD, could come to Retroarch. Hopefully it might happen some day, but there is no news on it at present.

Re: [PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
So far SORR has only been confirmed to be working for:
PC, Mac, linux
Xbox, Xbox 360
Caanoo
Many other systems have videos without downloads or only part working via video patching which doesn't really count
Part working:
The Wii (partly) and unplayable but it does run on the psp (kinda pointless tho)
and many others to no real use to us yet.
As for Raspberry Pi perhaps in time if it is actually playable something will be released...

Re: [PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
I'm not sure why it doesnt really count, but I'm enjoying sorr on my Pi, it uses the windows files and seems to run well.
I'm glad it works well with my usb controller as I thought I may have to use the keyboard - and fantastic music as well!
If anyone wants to try it out, full install instructions are in the video.

It doesn't seem to save when I change my settings though.

Re: [PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
hmm, I may need to look at editing the config file directly for that.

Re: [PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
Thanks Floob, if you try to exit to the title screen (when SORR tries to write the savegame file) the game freezes and you are kicked out to the Emulation Station. When I relaunch the game my settings have defaulted back.
We can discuss on zerojay's RetroPie-Extra thread on the RetroPie forums anyway, I see he closed an issue on github as he could not replicate it, but it seems to be there anyway for me.

Re: [PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
I get the same... Anyone know if that'll be fixed? Also, where did it disappear to from the retropie setup menu?

Re: [PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
It happens if you change the video mode to anything other than Normal. If you leave it on that you can play fine.

Re: [PORT REQUEST] Raspberry pi ?
Ok, you seem to be posting the same question in two threads, I answered in the other one.
Any questions you have regarding the Raspberry Pi port of SORR should be made on the RetroPie forums, zerojay, the guy who ported it, posts over there.
