UPDATE 14/11/2016 SEGA wants your feedback
http://www.vg247.com/2013/10/25/sega-talks-remakes-wants-your-suggestions-on-what-to-do-next/
http://www.siliconera.com/2013/10/24/sega-say-future-remakes-re-releases-depend-fans-want/
More and more, I see on gaming informations website that SEGA is reaching out to fan suggestions for their next remake, promising better treatment than what they have done before (Golden Axe for example).
That coming from Sega’s third CS Research and Development producer, Yosuke Okunari.
Guess some could try to suggest them SoR, some Shenmue or anything else
Here's some ways to contact them:

ok, this is what I got
https://twitter.com/okunari/status/394526662148116481
I planned on getting the 3DS port anyway since Yuzo himself said they did a remarkable work to adapt it (and it'll probably be cheap)

I read that to do any review for the nintendo 3ds, which has little interest.
anyway, for sega seems never to have been the saga streets of rage, unlike other franchises, even little things came out of the golden axe in the sonic tennis xbox 360

Re: UPDATE 14/11/2016 SEGA wants your feedback
Updating this post with an official post of SEGA:
"We’d like to learn more about you. Please take a moment to fill out our survey and help us make better games. Thanks for the help!"
The survey is there
http://bit.ly/FBSurv
This survey asks you a lot about your gaming experience and also precisely your SEGA gaming experience, asking for example which series you love (SoR is obviously in).
I completed that survey while emphasizing on Streets of Rage and I believe everyone should take advantage of it and take 5 minutes to complete it and let them know what do you want from SEGA.
Don't miss that chance!

Went ahead and did the survey. I was completely honest with them about what a shitty company they currently are and expressed my feeling about the poor handling they did with Streets of Rage Remake.
It will get thrown in the trash, I know, but I hope more people will say the same thing and someone will actually notice how pissed off their former fans are.

I've dropped my feedback in to let them know I'm more fond of their distant past than their present.

Yup, I took it and also left some things off my chest.
Perhaps I'm slightly more forgiving since they finally localized Yakuza 5 and might localize Yakuza 0... and definitely told them my love for old IP's that need to be revived (SORR, Out Run, Shenmue, Shinobi/Shadow Dancer, Golden Axe, etc.).
It was rather nauseating the huge deal of questions about mobile gaming, though. I showed my overall dislike to them and told them the last mobile game I actually played from them was BKM, lol. I swear to god if they'd have brought that old Nokia game into a more modern mobile system (Android, iOS), I wouldn't have doubted in getting it since THAT game was actually NEW, and not a badly emulated version of Genesis.
Anyways, I'm seeing in the overall comments of the FB page that they want good old IP's abck and show disdain to mobile games as well. Hope they can finally listen!

Started the Survey but tried to go back a page and it screwed everything up. They won't let me restart it now
Oh well.

If Sega are listening to the fans, we can look forward to Shadow the Hedgehog 2 on iPhone pretty soon, with all-new Autism Mode.

You're very welcome!
Also, I shared the survey on my SOR related vids on my youtube channel. If any of you publish youtube videos, feel free to share it as well, the more voices we get the better.

Re: UPDATE 14/11/2016 SEGA wants your feedback
If only that Golden Axe official remake from Sega Australia hadn't been cancelled and the studio not disbanded by Sega *itself*... It is pointless and seriously, much HYPOCRITICAL, coming from Sega, to ask for *our* opinion, under this scope and magnitude of recent, or otherwise, events... We all know they are going to keep spamming SONIC titles, maybe turn to mobile and smartphone market. And everyone knows how much they *hate* pc, honestly... There is no hope in this one...
I would love to see a golden axe remake, but thanks to *them*, i won't see it. What is the point to ask for *our* opinion on the matter, then, since they themselves decided beforehand, to pull the plug on good old titles, anyway? I would love to see an *official* streets of rage remake, but honestly, after having played the MASTERPIECE of an unofficial one here, i seriously believe that theirs is going to suck big time (Sega's, obviously). I would love to see an altered beast remake, or a Super Contra remake, or even better, a Stargate remake... I loved all those games back in the day, on good old Sega Genesis console and my TV... They won't pull it off and it is common knowledge. They have showed us enough signs towards this, already... Besides those games had been successful and nice as games, because back then, they had talent, inspiration and trying new things for the first time! No way Sega, even more in its current state, can stand up to that, let alone surpass its long gone past glory...

Re: UPDATE 14/11/2016 SEGA wants your feedback
Well I have the very same concerns as you after hearing that it's actually the mobile department of SEGA that published this survey.
Still, this is a very rare opportunity from SEGA to OFFICIALLY ask for our opinion on their brand as a whole. And last time SEGA ever truly asked any feedback, it was to decide which games they should do on mobiles. Taxman's Sonic CD remaster got a lot of word of mouths on their survey and that led to the official Sonic 1, 2 and CD remasters from Taxman we know of so things happen.
No question Sonic will still definitely be their main course but if the opportunity is taken at the time it shows itself, other franchises like Golden Axe and Streets of Rage could also have a chance. That's why I personnaly tried to convey this survey as much as possible, even on my Youtube account.
As for SEGA making quality games, they have insisted tons of times they would focus on quality and acknowledge they betrayed their customers expectations these last months. Apparently we may find out this month how exactly they plan to hold to those words.

Re: UPDATE 14/11/2016 SEGA wants your feedback
I still have another bone to pick when they released Outrun Online Arcade on PSN, but because the Ferrari license expired, they retired the game... isn't that a fucking dick move (either from SEGA or Ferrari)? I just want SEGA to release physical retail copies of them games: the latest awesome games they have released (VF5R, Yakuza 5, Outrun Online Arcade) have been digital only. Boy, I fucking hate digital only games!

Re: UPDATE 14/11/2016 SEGA wants your feedback
Here we go again.
This time, it's SEGA of Japan who's asking consumers to vote for the franchise they want to see revived as well as which characters they want to see back.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?s=4032acba381d1aaa8bbb5298fba56963&t=1314084
The results of the general election will be announced during the 48-hour live broadcast Segafesu. (November 20 (Sunday) 6:00 am scheduled).
Take advantage of it however you please.
If you want to vote for Streets of Rage, you must select the first answer at the first question then type ベア・ナックル which is Bare Knuckle in kanji.
Blaze Fielding is already among the answers for the second question.
In the third question you can also answer ベア・ナックル which is Bare Knuckle in kanji.
