Wasn't sure of reviving this topic from the old forum. But I have to after hearing this.
As some of you already know, a HD port of FFVII originally released on Square's website was just released on Steam yesterday. Featuring models that look out of place with the pre-rendered backgrounds and some really, really shitty remixes of the entire soundtrack.
Have a listen to the PC version of One Winged Angel.
And yes, that is really in the game.

Wow so they couldn't be bothered to use the original soundtrack and instead ported the MIDI versions of the songs from the first PC port.
I'm so so glad FFX-HD isn't getting such a shitty treatment.

Are they actually serious? I have heard fan remixes lot superior than this fucking piece of shit! WTF is wrong with Square's quality standards!?

Well, as some of you might know, FFVIII was released on Steam yesterday.

Bad video game music check these abortions out, first up arguably the worst game ever made.
Next we have this, sounds like that awful European 90's dance music. Hard to believe this was from a Sonic game
Final piece of ear rape, this could be used as a torture device literally just awful.

Hey! I object to that! That has to be the greatest game ever (and greatest soundtrack ever)! Who wouldn't want to push around realistic pixel buses around on a 2D plane?

Yeah, Sonic Genesis was a horrible game with horrible music.
If you meant Final Fight One, the GBA port of the Final Fight games, I actually kinda liked the music in that, though I can understand why some people might not like the soundtrack of that game.

This. If you want to talk to me about what I think is the most overrated game ost of all time, it would be SNES SF2. I do not understand the appeal of that version at all and baffles me that anyone would take that version over the original arcade version.

I never liked the SNES soundtrack of SF2. SSF2's was a lot better.

SNES Final Fight was sucky, SNES SF2 was on average, ok.

SF2 on Mega Drive was pretty close to the arcade! Unless you mean Super Street Fighter 2, the SNES version was far superior in every way.

By GBA, I think she meant the other GBA game I put, Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis (aka the shittiest port ever)
