Re: Rage Fighter
Ok, I'm going to try to do this as nicely as possible. I really don't want to come off as an asshole, but....
This mod was kind of painful.
When you said it was based off of Street Fighter, I was expecting the stages to be Street Fighter stages, possibly some Street Fighter music, ect. But what I got was a mod that was far too easy (beat in on Mania without losing a life, and without the cheat activated), with the same three songs repeated over and over. The one cut scene in the game not only made no sense at all (Cody Deth? Why is there no Cody Deth enemy? Not even touching the 'Son of Belger' thing) but was horribly misspelled and.... well, I would say that it did nothing to contribute to the plot, but there was no plot to contribute to. The only connection I could make between the stages and the boss you fought on that level is that sometimes, the stages were the sames ones that you encountered those enemies as bosses in. Sometimes. I was also pretty confused as to why, if this was supposed to be a 'Boss Rush' style mod, certain stages had mooks attacking you for no apparent rhyme or reason. That phenomenon didn't even follow linear stage progression - the last two stages have no mooks at all.
Can I ask why, after asking your players to set their lives to zero, you placed such a large amount of extra lives in the mod? That didn't make sense to me either. There was no title screen and no ending, which I understand happens with a lot of mods but is a personal pet peeve of mine.
The order you face the enemies in seems to be.... just wrong. Nonsensical, even. SoR2 Shiva followed by Mr. X for stages 1 and two, but your last two bosses and SoR1 Souther and Barbon? More lifebars doesn't make an enemy more challenging to beat when that enemy is by themselves, it just makes the beating take longer. A nine bar Barbon is still a Barbon, he just happens to be a Barbon that gets annoying and repetitive after awhile. (Grab, punch punch toss, repeat, repeat, repeat.....) not to mention the NINE (9) extra lives you place before fighting SoR1 Souther, who is in my opinion one of the weakest enemies in the game when he is by himself.
I apologize if I seem like I'm being an asshole to you, I really don't mean to be that guy. I just feel like a lot more effort could have gone into this.

Re: Rage Fighter
I dunno if changing the music will solve the issues outlined above.

Let's Kill him to death. Yeah I honestly have nothing to add, the Mod needs a LOT of work, At least some stuff to make sense with.

Maruf, I highly suggest you go through the tutorial section. There's lots of good stuff in there - I've been there at least once a day for the mod I'm working on.
Also folks, lets remember that this was his first mod. I didn't realize that until I re-read his original post.
