You know? I shouldn't be doing this.Embarassed But I guess it's time to show what I've been up to with the last DLC and overall with the whole mod, you know... to build a bit of hype in the very few SORR players.

H.U.N.T.E.R.: The MotY Complete Edition
(yeh yeh, I know it wasn't the mod of the year at all, but to do shit like Fallout, GTA and Batman do when they put every DLC in a single edition, I'm doing the same here)
The H.U.N.T.E.R. saga Title-1
The H.U.N.T.E.R. saga HSMThe H.U.N.T.E.R. saga Cold_zps96476d22

This is a project created along with Xenovant (H.U.N.T.E.R.) and Laucorn (Subway Mayhem and Cold Quest for Peace). It's the story of the law enforcement agency created by the heroes of Wood Oak City after the events of SOR3/Adam's Story, so many of the elements of those games carry on through the story.

H.U.N.T.E.R.

Changes in this final release.

- Several stages redrawn completely or using cleaner/crisp rips. Trying to get rid of the Sailor Moon overused resources... or at least the direct ones!
- Rebalance in some areas. Some places are slightly easier while some boss battles are more challenging without being broken. Some areas got completely revamped in enemy positioning so it's worth replaying again.
- Huge new array of palettes and names. Huge re-haul and OCD in name/palette assignment.
- Some sound and music files improved.
- Small graphical and bug fixes done.
- Tons of small surprises and Easter eggs.

- Completely new stages, some of them created completely from scratch.
- Hidden bonus areas and extra bonus stages as well.
- Tons of exclusive names and palettes for the new storyline.

Woooooooooo!

It's been so long I haven't been eager to play a mod, I can't wait! Especially for the cold quest for peace, stages made from scratch sounds very good to me!
Love some of the improvements you brought on some stages, while there's others I actually prefered the original version but it's probably just me anyway, they still stay excellent piece of work both versions.

And DLC for free, how unbelievable Razz

Trust me, the graphic quality improved a lot. Many rips were horribly deformed on resizing or lost quality, you'll see the new ones in action and trust me, the captures now don't make justice how do they look in-game.

I see, you're probably right. Actually, there was only those 2 that bothered me:

Well, you gotta see the whole area, many of the new buildings and establishments are brand new and fits with the ground (the old ground, in fact, has shitty quality, and couldn't find fresh rips of that area so had to use something different. trust me, with the whole set up looks fine). In the turnpike, there's lot of new variation, the graphics looks detailed and it's not the same loops of cars... in fact, you'll see a couple of cars drawn handmade by me).

Well, let's say that I'm alternating between this baby (haven't stopped updates every night) and.... something very special that also caught my attention with more detail. Let's say it's in the line of what I did with Rushing Beat Remake but... hmmm... something more special.... as special as a homage of my very first beat 'em up I've ever played in my life.

If you want a preview of what I'm doing, I can post it but.... might ruin a bit of the surprise, though. Your call, peeps. Very Happy

Christmas and New Year were hectic as fuck... had open classes, hosting and attending parties and other real life commitments. I was still advanced in the project I was doing, which is just with a couple of enemy positioning and the ending... plus, someone from Chrono Clash (OpenBOR) asked for some support for a Rushing Beat mod they're working with... and came up with something interesting. Will show it in the thread of Rushing Beat.

Now I'm free again, so I'll do the finishing touches to this ??? project. Hopefully will be out before the weekend.

I rarely go in that section because of you know... because of this kind of topic! (I discover it today and wow, it's like a sexy lady telling you some stuff and then...  you have to wait for a long time  Very Happy )

The change you plan seems cool (less sailor moon material, more balance fights), and the fact that you want to make an "all in one" is cool too, since HUNTER has the plot for it!

I have Double Dragon II (WSE) and Rescue Metro City (Tarma) mods in order to enjoy the waiting of this "big lunch"!  What a Face

Wow~! Was so good I did a test run of Subway Mayhem last night and found out I made a horrible mistake that pretty much erased every enemy positioning and event I've ever done when I mvoed all the new DLC content to the core game! I'm so glad I still have the rars of the original DLC and was able to back up and correct everything. Right now working in custom spriting for the cutscenes.
