Here, we can talk about announcements, news and general discussion about films.

In other news, I really wanna see Django Unchained. That movie looks incredible and I hear great things about it. Smile

Watched Attack of the Clones last night as I got the complete boxset on blu ray at Christmas. Better than The Phantom Menace, but still shite compared to the original trilogy Razz

Original trilogy is in a completely different league to those prequels. I was really disappointing with them.

Both were pretty shitty, but I felt that AOTC was the worst of the six. I can stand TPC somewhat, but when I get to AOTC I have to fight to get through that movie.

Quentin Tarantino blows up on a British reporter

Good for him, that reporter is a douche and was out of line for asking that question (skip to about 4:00 to hear it).

Speaking of which, I still want to hunt down the VHS tapes that have Darth Vader, Storm Trooper and Yoda on the box cover, in that respective order.

I heard about this yesterday. The White House respondent was awesome in his response to the petition. Laughing

Just saw Django Unchained today.

It was an entertaining film, but I didn't find it as GREAT as some people make it out to be. Middle sections of the movie kinda bring it down a little bit, the pacing is really bad during that section. But other than that, it was still an awesome movie from Tarantino as always. Waltz is just incredible in this movie. He was easily my favorite part. Laughing

I will try to see The Last Stand here soon.

That's on my ASAP list. The trailers look really good.

Well Resident Evil: Retribution was a pile of shit. The WORST movie I've ever watched.

Mila Jovovich wearing nothing but paper sheets was the only small caveat.

I thought the first few were alright but boy did it slide into shitville...

Also watched Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy for the first time today. It was better than i expected that's for sure, but the dubbing of the voices was off sync sadly. The Snake voice and acting was really well done though. I wouldn't mind seeing the guy who plays Snake in a proper MGS feature.

For some sad reason it doesn't look like parts 2 and 3 of Philanthropy are coming anytime soon though Neutral

When I think of AOTC, all I remember is that awesome bomb spewed from Jango's ship.
Not a film saving moment though. Not on your nelly.

Bullet to the Head was meh. I know he isn't one of the best actors out there and you shouldn't expect anything Oscar worthy from him, but this was one of Stallone's worst performances as an actor I have ever seen.

It was still worthwhile to see, but it wasn't one of Stallone's best movies.

I'm an avid reader of the Jack Reacher novel series by Lee Child (I posses almost all of them). I see the character as one of the coolest mofokas ever. Until now I realized they made a movie about him (based on the first book One Shot) and I'm kinda puzzled why Tom Cruise was chosen by the role of him, considering Reacher is a giant and certainly couldn't picture Cruise as him.
Then again, Anne Rice also was baffled why Tom was chosen to play Lestat in Interview with the Vampire and we know the final result.
The trailer of the film looks interesting, though.

I must watch this film.

Looks good, and he is also in a big budget sci -due later in the year.

'Tis a shame that I cannot watch anything with him in, all I see is Tom Cruise, the [Expletives' Detected}

Aye, luring women into bed with charming poems; before spooning out their innards to feed General Zardodathon, leader of the race of hexagonal humans colonizing planet beef and chicken jerk.

Edit:

'Spoony Bard', I just got it, silly me.

Well, I hate to say this, but this is the first time I have ever hated a Die Hard movie.

Not only was A Good Day to Die Hard a bad Die Hard movie, it was about as bad as Superman IV, Batman & Robin, and Robocop 3 all were. Not even kidding when I say that it was one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time, maybe ever. No seriously, I don't even know where to start on went wrong with this piece of shit!

First it was Max Payne and now it's Die Hard. Thanks for pissing on two great franchises John Moore! Fuck you! Evil or Very Mad

Watched X-Men: First Class again last night. I hadn't seen it since it was released in the cinema, cool movie. Michael Fassbender is great in everything and he was born and raised about an hour away from my house Smile

I will reserve total judgement until I've seen it, but your words fill me with woe.

Bruce Willis and everyone else involved should have known better, and to add, No 4 was so big, almost post-apocalyptic. It took the franchise to an action film summit, and they should have left it there.
