SORR turns 3 today!

Right around this time (or an hour from now), I remember B posting a link to the main blog detailing the release of V5. That night will forever remain cherished in my memories.

Happy Birthday to one of the greatest video games ever created.

Man, I remember back when I joined the forums before V5, waiting anxiously to play it, wanting to get my hands back on Adam so damn bad(my main character always. Elle's a close second with Shiva not far behind). I remember the trials and tribulations of the initial massive difficulty curve, but becoming better because of it. A lot has happened since then. I've become a grown-ass man, gotten jobs that I've loved, found true love and work to keep it every day, and through it all has been the constant of this labor of love that got released and updated through much strife. Thank you Bomberlink and all of the devs and contributors of Streets of Rage Remake, for showing that much love and dedication to one of my favorite games/franchises of all time. Happy birthday, SORR. Here's to all the memories now,and the ones to come. I'll crack another 'Dang!' tonight just for you.

I will always remember that day, I was lurking on internet and I saw a topic which mention about SoRRv4. I just click on the link which lead to bombergame website.

I didn't even heard about BomberGame by this time. But that day, I just click on the link, and that day was the 6th april 2011.

V5 was just released and I just can't even try to wonder what I would have missed.

I still remember the day it came out! I had invited a friend round to play v4, and thought I would doublecheck the forums.

There it was! SorR v5 was ready for download! 3 Years later, and I still play mods on SorR sunday!

Thanks to everyone that contributed to the game!

3 years old, huh? I wonder if the mod I've been working on and am now fine-tuning could be an appropriate birthday present...

Thankfully the old site is still up and I was able to follow here. If I had checked in a couple of days who knows maybe the site is down.

I just started playing this again, I still absolutely love the game, I just really don't have anyone to play with in multiplayer and also don't have a gamepad anymore either. The gamepad isn't such a big deal though I guess, and even if this had online I'd probably not have anyone to play with sadly.

I know I played this on the hardest difficulty but now I think I just prefer to play on Hard and use stage select to play through some stages. Also the X shortcuts are useful, I don't remember if there was a listing of them in the SORR game directory, but this site has it so I was able to find them again thankfully. I'll probably re-discover things in this game...I'm pretty sure I unlocked everything though and had seen all the endings.
