Dead bodies can't have blood.

Hi all;
I found a minor, but irritating problem that doesn't make sense to me. With the "dead bodies remain" cheat enabled, blood is disabled. It CANNOT be enabled, if you try it will turn it off as soon as you start playing. It's ridiculous. Is there a reason for this? Is there anyway to fix this? I had hoped v5.1 would've caught that, but nope.
