Yeah, I read that after seeing this, so at least it wasn't completely ripped off. But this probably explains why this song is absent from the PC version.

And no, I haven't played the Sonic 2 GG Prototype.

Yeah, the Hard Times music was uploaded like many years ago on Youtube and it amazes me how late everyone found out about it.

On the other hand, the Sonic Megamix build that was leaked many years ago was officialy released by Sonic Megamix team on Sonic Retro. Stealth explains why there:

Sonic Megamix isn't dead but they'll take their time, that's for sure.

Every time I hear someone from that team speak about this game, I just smile because its always something involving that crew.

And yes, I know that this wasn't particularly their fault this time and they have the right to be pissed about that leaking. But still, it seems like there is always drama with that game.

To be fair, the site does seem like it has gotten a little bit better now that he's gone, but there are definitely still some "OMG GREEN EYES, FUCK YOU SEGA!" here and there that plague the site. Razz

Wonder where they were actually gonna use that?

My guess is the cutscene at the end of Crystal Egg, it always beat me why Sonic does his "What are you doing?" idle pose at the end of it. Maybe he was meant to laugh but they realised how creepy the animation looked, or something.

They probably didn't have Crystal Egg even planned at that point though, or Tails for that matter. So who knows?

Not only is the song plagiarized, I'm also pretty sure that the midi it's using was stolen from vgmusic as well.

Currently trying to make this stage look less Scrap Brain-y when it comes to the foreground.

Graphics, object placement etc not final whatsoever.

I guess I was wrong about the theme of that music anyway.

Looking very cool though and honest that level design looks like fun!
And watching that video makes me realize how much Sonic Worlds has improved, this is amazing!

Now time shall tell if you'll be joining the army of fangames that never get finished or not Razz

Seeing as this is based on an idea I had 14 years ago for a fangame, I think I'll finish it just to get it out the way Very Happy
