My reaction to the Xenoblade Chronicles X spoilers that have surfaced today:

Wii U Gamepad will probably be compatible with a PC somehow too, just like how its possible to play the Wii without the Wiimote on PC nowadays.

Kotaku: Konami Sucks

For once, I actually agree with Kotaku (or a Gawker-related site in general), Konami does suck.

For those who don't know yet, with the news of P.T. being removed from PSN forever this week, there are also reports from users that it has been removed COMPLETELY from PSN. Meaning, you can't ever download it again. So if you want to keep the game, don't ever delete it and hope you don't have a HDD crash, because you will never get it again.

Fuck Konami.

Are you tired of Konami giving the finger to their fans and disappointed that they are leaving the industry and to use their IPs only for pachinko machines?

Well, why don't you back Koji Igarashi's (the man behind Symphony of the Night) Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night? It needs $500,000 and it's currently at $423,000 as I am typing this.

This is the first time I have ever backed something on Kickstarter and feel comfortable enough to pledge $100 for this project. Let's fund this and the stretch goals for this game and give the finger back to Konami and show them that Castlevania-like games are still relevant to fans.

So dope! I gladly supported the return of ToeJam & Earl as to say "f*** u SEGA" and I'd happily do the same for this retro Castlevania successor!
I really hope more retro games gets revived with initiatives like these!

BTW, Capcom still makes me smile, turns out the worst japanese companies are not those you expect (aka Konami which destructed itself spectacularly at a faster rate than SEGA could do)

Amen to that. In 2009/10ish, I would've laughed at the thought of Konami being one of the worst developers in the world and even worse than Capcom five years from then after the shit they were doing. Same with Sega (well, they were bad at the time too, but mostly because of incompetence, there weren't pulling any dick moves at that time).

What a sad, sad industry this has become. We have pretty much become dependent on the indie market for good games now. There are still some good games here and there from big names, but it is pretty rare.

Fallout 4 confirmed!

Fallout 4 graphics seem like a mixed bag, some screens show a nice looking game while others show PS3 models.

Not sure why I was expecting a game with photo realistic graphics..

With an open world that big I don't know why either.

Its just that something seems off.. I blame the artbook that came with my collectors edition of Fallout 3.
Why you'd ask? because it went into great detail about how much work they did making models and great textures and everything else.
(seriously its a great book)

Fallout 4 just seems like.. a reusing of all the previous art, kinda like Doom 1 and 2.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, its just.. I guess I was expecting 2015 graphics.

Well, yeah, it does look like a PS3 game, indeed... but I'm still hype as fuck~!

So now the setting will be in a post-apocalyptic Boston... interesting choice of a city.

Looking forward to it, definitely.
